A $246 Nightmare: Money Gone, No Glasses, and Trapped by Bots 😤
I'm writing this to warn everyone about my horrendous experience with GlassesUSA. They took my money, never delivered my glasses, and then made it impossible to get a refund. Here's what I went through: GlassesUSA has still not sent my refund for an order I never received. $246.00 they have of my hard-earned money from a glasses order placed on 2/24. The tracking number still shows it stuck in Atlanta, Georgia. I can't get a response for a refund all they keep telling me is it is in transit from a BOT. I want my money back, GlassesUSA. My order number is #105081183 if an actual person sees this. After being ignored by bots, I was forced to try and engage with their customer service to get my money back.
Customer: My order is #105081183. It's been over a month, the tracking is stalled, and your bots are useless. I want my $246 back immediately.
CS Rep: I am so sorry for the frustration and the long wait you've experienced. Let me check on that order. I see the shipment has not moved. I can understand why you're upset.
Customer: Understanding doesn't get my money back. I've been patient long enough. I don't want to hear it's 'in transit' again. I want a refund processed right now.
CS Rep: You are absolutely right. This is unacceptable. I have canceled the order and processed a full refund of $246.00 to your original payment method. You will receive an email confirmation shortly.
Customer: And how long will that take to show up? I'm not waiting another month for the refund to get "stuck in transit."
CS Rep: The funds should appear in your account within 7-10 business days, depending on your bank's processing time. I sincerely apologize for this entire ordeal.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
