I'm writing this as a warning to others about my terrible online shopping experience. After placing a $685 order, I received glasses with the wrong prescription, and that was just the start of the nightmare. Trying to get it fixed felt impossible; I spent countless hours with their worthless chatbot and sent emails that went unanswered. It left me feeling that I have never been more frustrated with an online purchase experience. My frustration with the automated runaround is what forced me to finally track down a live person, and this is how that conversation went.

Customer: My order number is [Order Number]. I returned a pair of glasses with the wrong prescription almost a month ago, and I've heard nothing. Your chatbot is useless, and no one answers my emails. CS Rep: I am very sorry to hear about the issue with your prescription and the trouble you've had reaching us. Let me pull up your order information now. Customer: I've explained this multiple times in emails. I don't want a replacement anymore. After all this, I just want my Amex card credited back for the glasses I returned. CS Rep: I understand your frustration completely. I see the returned item in our system, and I sincerely apologize for the delay. I can process a refund request to our billing department for you right away. Customer: A 'request'? I need you to issue the refund now. I've waited long enough. CS Rep: Yes, I have just submitted the priority refund. You will receive an email confirmation, and the credit should appear on your statement in 5-7 business days.
